BEN OONG, CMT, Reiki Master

Ben’s philosophy towards bodywork is to allow the mind and body to return to its natural state of harmony. Ben spent time in China in Tui-Na training, DeAnza College and Skyline College with teachings in Pathology, Physiology and Massage Therapy.

Ben uses a combination of soothing Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Release, Joint Mobilization and Tui Na in his sessions. He however, believes in the customization based on client’s needs is the real key to a successful body treatment. All body work and message sessions are ended with a little energy healing, he received his Reiki Master title in 2013.

Ben has recently completed another 60 hour Acupressure bodywork training. Acupressure uses a similar principle of Acupuncture, excluding the needles. Acupressure uses the hands instead; a highly effective functional massage for persons with acute or chronic body pain(s).

Q: Do I need to arrive earlier than my appointment time?

A: To facilitate intake and preparation for your spa treatment, we do ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. Arriving late will limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will still end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed and the full value of your treatment will be applied.

Q: Do we need to bring anything with us to the spa?

A: No, we have everything you will need here including robes, slippers, towels, water, showers, hairdryers, etc.

Q: What do we wear during our treatments?

A: That is entirely up to you. Many people undress completely while receiving body treatments, however we always use draping and are sensitive about modesty.

Q: Can we bring our children? Is there an age limit?

A: The spa is a very quiet and relaxing sanctuary, so you will need to find child care for little ones. For spa guests under the age of 16, a parent must be present for the full treatment. Spa services and facilities are not available to persons under the age of 13 without prior approval of management.

Q: What about my comfort?

A: This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it’s the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We do request that all cell phones be turned off in the spa.

Q: What if I have special health considerations?

A: Please notify the reservationist when booking your treatment(s) if you have any sort of medical condition which we should be aware of, such as high blood pressure, allergies, physical disabilities, pregnancy or if you are receiving chemotherapy treatments. If you have any concerns, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
