Oceano Beaches and Bluffs Lighthouse Bike Package

There is no better way to take in the spectacular beauty and extraordinary charm of the Half Moon Bay coastside than from the seat of a bicycle. Oceano Hotel & Spa Half Moon Bay is the perfect starting point to experience the vibrant beauty awaiting you while riding on the Pacific Ocean beach trails. Cycle the seaside bluffs to Montara’s historic lighthouse. Explore quiet beaches and century old Cypress groves. Enjoy a bird's-eye view of soaring pelicans and refresh your spirit with the cool breezes of the Pacific Ocean This ride reveals “The Coastside” that most visitors seldom see.


The tour begins at the Oceano Hotel & Spa and is designed for individuals who are somewhat fit. The terrain has unpaved paths and hills.  We offer this adventure to folks who ride regularly with "EASY" riding skills.


This guided tour visits local historic sights, and provides views of birds, coastal wildlife and abundant flora and fauna.  We discuss nature and spend time absorbing the oceans energy and power.  Mid-ride we offer a snack of water, fresh fruit, chocolates and local organic Odwalla bars. During our break we will have a photographic tour of the California inter tidal wilderness. Wildlife viewing’s are some of the highlights of this rural adventure. Tours are 4 hours.


Please bring a windbreaker, hat, gloves, and camera. Dress in layers for extra comfort. The bikes have bags for personal items.
